The belly carry is perfectly suitable for children weighing less than 8 kg. Beyond that, don't use it again, as you risk back pain. This allows you to carry your child facing you for the first few months, up to around 3 months, and facing the road when he starts to be wide awake as he then appreciates being in contact with the outside world. We recommend waiting until baby is 5 months old before carrying outwards.

Back carrying takes more of the strain off the back, and is especially suitable for children over 9 months who have good neck and back support. It can be used for children weighing up to 14.5 kg (approximately 24 months). We recommend waiting until your child is 12 months old, as you no longer have him directly in front of you when he's on your back.

The Willy baby carrier can be used from birth and up to 14.5kg. For long-lasting, comfortable carrying for you and your little one, we recommend carrying up to 10kg.
