What material should your child's sleeping bag be made of?

Remember that the higher the TOG, the more it protects your child in low temperatures. As for the material, here are the different solutions:
- Water velvet: this material is breathable. It is suitable for both winter and mid-season clothing.
- Cotton: mainly recommended for the summer, cotton is a particularly recommended material to bé
- Polyester: very light, polyester is especially recommended for summer nights.
Beyond the material, remember that it is the TOG that should guide you in choosing the garment to have your child wear. Depending on the ambient temperature, adjust his or her sleepwear.
Choose your sleeping bag options carefully
One point to highlight is the opening system that equips the sleeping bags.
There are two modes of opening:
- Central closure on the lower part.
In reality, the closure implies little difference for parents, however, if your child is going to create it, you may be asked to favor a center opening.
This opening is designed to allow you to change your child easily, without having to undress him/her completely. As for the side closure, it is ideal for home use, very practical, especially for changing the baby's diaper during the night.
