The test comes in the form of a test strip that must be immersed in urine to perform an in-vitro diagnosis. It measures the following parameters in the urine: Glucose (sugar), Blood, Protein, Nitrite, Leucocytes (white blood cells). The test can give indications on the state of carbohydrate metabollism, kidney function and the presence of urinary tract infections.
