The safety mesh is designed to protect your child's head and neck from dangerous falls.
The protective grille combines all the advantages of screw-on and clamp-on grilles. Unlike à clamp grilles, this grille has no frame. This makes it ideal for use as a staircase barrier when screwed to the wall. The fact that the bottom rail has been omitted means that passage is unobstructed. As a result, there is no additional step to negotiate and the barrier is particularly suitable for securing the top ends of staircases. What's more, the total width of the passageway is retained, as there is no need to block the side rails that would otherwise restrict the passageway.
It's easy to install.
The safety barrier can be screwed or fixed to the wall. When screwed to the wall, it is particularly suitable for securing stair entrances and exits, as these are the areas where you need to be able to rely on a secure hold. Thanks to its infinitely adjustable width of 63 cm and 106 cm, the barrier can be used in many areas of varying widths without the need for an additional extension.
The barrier is also available in a wide range of widths.
Thanks to fixed screwing via a wall hinge, the barrier can be opened in both directions. This means that the barrier can always be opened easily in the direction of travel. However, for use on stairs, we strongly recommend that the barrier always faces away from the staircase to minimise risk. That's why, for safe use on stairs, a directional stop is also supplied, which can only be opened from one side.
For added security, the barrier has been fitted with the Active-Lock locking system - a dual opening mechanism. This means that 2 actions have to be performed simultaneously to deactivate the lock.
