The teardrop-shaped teat favours tongue placement and a sucking technique in which the tongue is flat and presses the dummy against the roof of the mouth. In this way, the baby does not need to suck forcefully for the soother to flatten out in its mouth.

The teat is fitted with a valve that lets the air escape when the baby tightens the teat. Thanks to this ventilation system, the air contained in the teat is expelled through the valve, which flattens the teat so that it naturally conforms to the shape of the mouth cavity of the baby.
