The soother features the classic BIBS round collar, with its three feeding holes, and a round grip ring engraved with the brand name: BIBS. The collar curves around the mouth to hug the sensitive, delicate skin of the baby. It has been specially designed to avoid any accumulation of saliva in this area. Whatever the size of the tee, the collar will always be the same size.

The shape of the round teat is reminiscent of the shape and size of the mother's breast and encourages the baby to place her tongue and teat in the same way as she would at the breast, the round shape allowing her to wrap her tongue around the teat. The teat has a valve, which lets the air out when the baby presses on the teat.
