During the first critical moments of a frontal impact, the child’s body is propelled towards the padded shell of the car seat, reducing the movement and the force acting on the child’s neck. Mandatory up to 15 months (76 cm), we recommend keeping your child in the rear-facing position for as long as possible. The Sirona Gi i-Size has been designed for comfortable rear-facing journeys for children up to 20kg (* compared with the same seat facing the road in a frontal impact).
