The Mochi Convertible Bed reinvents the traditional convertible bed from the inside out. Designed to accompany your child from birth to around 10 years of age, everything the bed needs to adapt is ingeniously integrated into the design itself. The bed frame extends easily from 120 to 170 cm, whilst the extra section of the slatted base required for the junior configuration can be neatly stowed away beneath the base during the early years. There’s no need to buy a separate conversion kit or store it away for years: everything stays with the bed, ready for the next stage.

Mochi transforms from a closed cot with two adjustable base heights into a fully open junior bed. Optional safety rails offer additional protection and allow for various intermediate configurations, including a semi-open children’s bed, for a gradual transition towards greater independence. Each configuration has been designed as a bed in its own right, ensuring that Mochi retains its distinctive silhouette and remains just as beautiful at every stage.

Its soft, sculptural curves, its warm Biscotto finish and its solid walnut legs give Mochi its distinctive and timeless character. A bed designed not only to last ten years, but also to remain a natural part of your home throughout those years.

Mochi is designed as a fully modular bed, with no need for complex conversion kits or additional parts to be ordered at a later date.

Even the bed base extension is included from the outset. Until it is needed, it can be discreetly stored in the specially designed space under the base of the cot. Everything needed to convert the bed from one stage to theremains with the bed, with no conversion parts to be stored separately for years on end.
